Freely Downloadable Windows Software

This software is free to download and use. The individual software versions may vary in features (compared with its purchased versions, if available) and in licensing restrictions on use (read the EULA before installing). Most software are full-featured and others may have feature limitations due to its 'free' nature; some are open-source and others proprietary; some may be system specific (XP only, 98/Me only, etc.) and some non-specific (98/Me, 2000, XP, etc.). Try the software listed before you spend your next $50.00. 'Beefing-up' your system does not have to cost an 'arm and a leg', it is NOT always true that 'PAY' software is better than 'FREE' software. This is by-far NOT a complete list of software, only software that I use and can rely on, and therefore would highly recommend.
